The Stubaital offers you four lift operators with fantastic and diverse skiing resorts: Schlick 2000, the varied family skiing area in Fulpmes, get to the valley station by only a 5-minute walk from the Ferienland Stubai;
the Stubai Glacier, kingdom of snow, the biggest glacial skiing are in Tyrol where you can ski until July;
Elferlifte, Tyrol’s tobogganing mountain and perfect spot for paragliding;
Serlesbahnen, perfect for snowshoe hiking or general winter hikes in a beautiful landscape, great and demanding high-altitude trails for cross country skiers.

Cross Country Skiing
Winter landscapes covered in deep snow, crystal clear mountain air and wonderful panoramic views. You feel your body and find your own rhythm while cross country skiing. 62 km of prepared cross country tracksin different altitudes guarantee perfect snow conditions throughout the winter. Classic cross country skiers as well as skaters find their perfect slopes: 30km of trails running through the valley from Schönberg until Falbeson, high-altitude tracksin MiedersSerlesbahnen (24km), Schlickeralm (3.5km) and at the Stubai Glacier (2km); illuminated night trails in Milders, daily from 5pm until 8pm.

Sledding/Tobogganing
In the Stubai there are no less than twelve sled runs distinguished with the Tyrolean Naturrodelbahn quality seal. With a length of 43 kilometres, the Stubaital is Tyrol’s largest sledding arena. One of Tyrol’s longest runs for the fast sleds lies in the Stubaital: The Elfer run takes you over six kilometres directly down to the centre of Neustift. A particularly exciting experience is the night sledding. Four runs are illuminated, and the huts and restaurants in the Stubai are open for an entertaining night together with friends.

Ice Skating and Curling
The covered ice rink Fulpmes lies in the middle of the village at the bandstand beside the elementary school and is open in all weathers. Ice Disco: every Saturday, Ice stock:Monday – Friday in the evenings

Winter and Snowshoe Hiking
Feeling the fresh snow step by step, past snow-covered trees, inhaling the cold winter air, accompanied by the glittering of thousands of ice crystals – winter and snow shoe hiking are particularly idyllic in the Stubaital. On more than 80 km of groomed winter hiking paths active holiday-makers can let both their eyes and soul wander and find peace.Warming yourself during a rest in one of the many quaint rest stops of the Stubaital is the perfect end of a tranquil winter hike.

In the climbing gym Fulpmes rock climbing enthusiasts can satisfy their passion for climbing even in winter. The 300m² big and up to 9.5m tall climbing wall offers 25 routes graded from IV to X. (UIAA grading)

Innsburck
Innsbruck, the charming capital of Tyrol amidst the Alps, is only 20km away from Fulpmes. Take your car across the Europe Bridge and get to Innsbruck in only 20 minutes. For those who are looking for a more romantic route, take the local STUBAITAL-BAHN through valleys and fields to get into the town centre of Innsbruck.
